What is the elements tab?

In the workflow editor you will find the Elements tab which displays a list of your job fields, deadlines and stages. Here you can create, edit and delete fields, deadlines and stages.

If the workflow system you are editing has multiple sub-systems then you will see an elements tab for each sub-system. All elements belong to a sub-system.

On the elements tab you can:

• Create, edit and delete a job field.
  • New fields are automatically added to routes.
  • You can only delete fields that are not on any routes.
• Create, edit and delete a job deadline.
  • New deadlines are automatically added to routes.
  • You can only delete deadlines that are not on any routes.
• Create, edit and delete job stages.
  • New stages, when created on the elements tab, are not automatically incorporated into any routes. You need to add a step to/from the stage.
  • You can only delete job sages that are not used as the to or from stage on any route.
