Job holder examples: Set job holder (if empty)
This workflow action is identical to the Set job holder workflow action except it will only change the job holder where the job holder field is empty at the time the action is triggered.
This is great in certain situations. For example you might allocate some of your clients to staff members via client fields such as the regular preparer but leave this field blank on others. When a job creates you will likely automatically set the a position such as preparer to whoever is populating this client field. When the job is ready you'll then set the job holder to the preparer position; however, those without a preparer will not have a job holder at this point. Here you would add a Set job holder (If empty) workflow action setting the job holder to someone else (perhaps the client manager or the pool).
