How to deactivate/delete/reactivate a workflow system

If you no longer need a workflow system, you have two options: deactivate it or delete it, which will remove it from the Glide system. If you decide you need the workflow system in the future, then you should deactivate it; you can reactivate it at any time in the future. Follow the steps below to carry out these actions:

Deactivate a Workflow system:

• Click on the Config menu (Superuser access required).
• Go to the Active Workflow Systems at the top of the page.
• Click on Edit workflow systems.
• Click on the Blue Down Arrow icon at the far right of the row.
• This will move the workflow system to the Inactive Workflow System section at the bottom of the page.

Please note jobs will not be created for inactive workflow systems and alerts will not be sent.

Deleting a Workflow System:

• Click on the Config menu (Superuser access required).
• Click on Edit workflow systems.
• Scroll down to the Inactive Workflow Systems at the bottom of the page.
• Locate the workflow system you wish to delete.
• Click on the Red Cross icon at the far right of the row.
• You will then get a final message to confirm that you wish to delete the workflow system.
• Once you click Yes the workflow system will be permanently deleted.

Reactivating a Workflow System:

• Click on the Config menu (Superuser access required).
• Click on Edit workflow systems.
• Scroll down to the Inactive Workflow Systems at the bottom of the page.
• Locate the workflow system you wish to reactivate.
• Click on the Blue Up Arrow icon at the right of the row.
• You will then get a message to confirm that you wish to reactivate the workflow system. Please note jobs will be automatically created based on the settings chosen, alerts will be active and users will see the system.
• Once you click Yes the workflow system will be reactivated and moved to the above Active Workflow Systems.
