How to make a workflow system visible to only individuals or organisations.
By default, all workflow systems will be visible on all client cards. Of course, many will not be active and can simply be ignored.
Some workflow systems are guaranteed not to apply to certain clients and it can be desirable to make them not appear on the client card at all.
Glide allows you to filter a workflow system such that it does not appear on individuals or organisations.
This might be useful to prevent Confirmation Statements from appearing on individuals.
To change this setting, please do the following:
- Click on the Config menu (superuser access required).
- Click on the Edit workflow systems link.
- Drill into the relevant workflow system using the pencil icon.
- Click on the green Edit system settings button towards the top right of the screen.
- Change the Entity type setting.
- Click the blue save button and exit the editor.
Please note the following:
- This setting simply changes the visibility. It will not delete jobs, deactivate the workflow on clients etc.
- At the moment, this visibility can not be applied more granularly to specific types of organisations.
- Typically, the personal tax workflow would always be visible because it is used on individuals, partnerships, LLPs and trusts.
