How to activate/deactivate the pool screen.

When activated the Pool screen will appear in the workflows menu. You can activate or deactivate the pool individually for every workflow system, to do so follow these steps:

  1. Firstly note you need to be a super user to configure workflows.
  2. Click on the config menu.
  3. Click on edit workflow systems.
  4. Drill into the appropriate workflow system using the pencil icon to the right of the name.
  5. Click on the green button labelled Edit system settings. This will open up various options.
  6. Find the setting called Activate pool screen? Set to yes or no as required.
  7. Click save to save the settings.

Note that deactivating the pool screen will not delete workflow actions that set the pool as the current holder, you will need to adjust these separately. There is no harm in having jobs held by the pool even though you can not see the pool report but we would not recommend it. You may also need to bulk reallocate the job holder from pool to someone else which you can do using the bulk staff operation tool.
