How to allow other users to change client status (e.g. delete a client).

By default only partner, manager and superuser level users can change the status of a client between prospect, active, on hold, lost and deleted.

Glide contains a permission group to which you can add either specific users or groups of users, doing so gives these users permission to change the status of a client.

If you add a group of users then any member of that group will have the permission.

To add a user or group of users follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Config menu (superuser access required).
  2. Click on Manage staff permission lists.
  3. On the right hand side under Permission lists scroll down to the Additional users that can change client status.
  4. You'll see a list of users and teams on the left hand side of the screen, drag one user (or team) at a time into the above group.

There is no need to save the changes, this happens automatically and will be effective when the user next logs in.
