How to allow other users to change client status (e.g. delete a client).
By default only partner, manager and superuser level users can change the status of a client between prospect, active, on hold, lost and deleted.
Glide contains a permission group to which you can add either specific users or groups of users, doing so gives these users permission to change the status of a client.
If you add a group of users then any member of that group will have the permission.
To add a user or group of users follow these steps:
- Click on the Config menu (superuser access required).
- Click on Manage staff permission lists.
- On the right hand side under Permission lists scroll down to the Additional users that can change client status.
- You'll see a list of users and teams on the left hand side of the screen, drag one user (or team) at a time into the above group.
There is no need to save the changes, this happens automatically and will be effective when the user next logs in.
